السلام عليكم

This is the full series of Books of Al-Arabiyatu Bayna Yadayk

'This series is designed for the non-Arab speaking, senior level student. With a collection of audiotapes and MP3 CD it helps the student learn Arabic through listening and conversation along with reading and writing. The series stresses communication and also offers glimpses into the Arabic culture, both Islamic and national. Divided into 3 grades, it contains textbooks and workbooks combined in one book. The entire series can be taught intensively in 300 classes (averaging 45 minutes one class,) 100 classes for each grade. If the program is not intensive, it can be taught within a three-year period.'

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله

ما شاء الله
sister, firstly - welcome to the forum at Ibn Mandhoor!
It seems as though you are really keen to increase your ability and already behold a passion for Arabic. Some tips? Well, although Al-Arabiyyatu bayna yadayk is good for learning essential vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening etc, the aim is to teach Islamic studies and an advanced working knowledge of the Arabic language. However, I find that the book series is lacking in the grammatical aspect of learning which is, as you will agree, the crux of understanding fundemental structures within the language itself. Without the grammar, there is no foundation and much of your learning will feel disorganised, as did mine. You may even find yourself picking up unnecessary grammatical errors without your knowledge, and in turn, carry them into further study (many people find themselves in this situation and realise the difficulty of correcting themselves once a linguistic concept has already been ingrained).

In order to avoid this, I strongly urge you sister, to take up the MSA Level I course at Ibn Mandhoor, which highlights stimulating topics, attends to vocabulary as well as equipping you which sound knowledge of how to dissect a passage in terms of grammar without hesitation إن شاء الله . You will find that in a short time, you will have surpassed much of the initial Madina Book Series as well as Bayna Yadayk إن شاء الله.

In the meantime, do not hesitate to post up any questions regarding Arabic which you come across, and feel free to use the various resources which are at your disposal.

!مع السلامة
