بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ - And the the angels
يَشْهَدُونَ - witness/testify*

The verb in the imperfect tense which is masculine plural, indicates that الْمَلَائِكَةُ must be one of those masculine words which have ةُ (taa marbutah)at the end.

I don't actually know how to find out, most dictionaries that I have come across so far, don't indicate whether the word is fem. or masc.

Can anyone confirm the gender of the word?
