Translation of an ayah from Suratil Maa'idah - 2

Please translate the following from Suratil Maa'idah searching any new verbs/nouns that have not yet been encountered. Please provide any additional explanation where you see necessary.


فَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَ‌ٰلِكَ مِنكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ

فَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَ‌ٰلِكَ مِنكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ

فَمَن so who
كَفَرَ disbelieves
بَعْدَ after
ذَ‌ٰلِكَ that
مِنكُمْ from you (m3+)*
فَقَدْ so then
ضَلَّ [he has] gone astray
سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ the straight path

* This part confuses me in terms of understanding the verse

فَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَ‌ٰلِكَ مِنكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ

فَمَن - so whoever
كَفَرَ - disbelieved
بَعْدَ - after
ذَ‌ٰلِكَ - that (which) is**
مِنكُمْ - from you (m3+)
فَقَدْ - so he had
ضَلَّ - strayed (from)
سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ - the same path (as you)

** Here I think there may be an omitted predicate e.g. present/sent/heard/told/apparent...from you, etc. It would make more sense, I think.

So what would the full translation be?

Actually, you know looking back I think I'm really wrong, I'd translate it MORE like this:

فَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَ‌ٰلِكَ مِنكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ
Translation: So whoever from (amongst) you disbelieved after that*, so he had strayed (from) the path of similitude (as you).

* After what? I have no idea. Perhaps it after that which was revealed/shown?

Does it make any more sense...I wonder...
